Brave Mode
For developers who trust their workflow and want zero friction.
What is Brave Mode?
When enabled, Brave Mode changes how posts are created:
| Feature | Normal Mode | Brave Mode |
|---|---|---|
| Manual posts | Draft | Published |
| AI-generated posts | Draft | Published |
| Auto-sync posts | Draft | Published |
Why "Brave"?
Publishing without review requires confidence in:
- Your GitHub activity quality
- The AI's content generation
- Your portfolio's audience
It's not for everyone, but for those who embrace it, it's liberating!
Use Cases
Perfect For:
- Developers with consistent, quality commits
- Those who want a truly "living" portfolio
- People who prefer editing after publishing
Maybe Not For:
- New users still learning the platform
- Those with sensitive work information
- Perfectionists who review everything
Safety Features
Even with Brave Mode, you're protected:
- Edit anytime - Published posts can be edited
- Delete instantly - Remove posts with one click
- Content filtering - AI avoids sensitive information
- Hide option - Mark posts as hidden without deleting
Enabling Brave Mode
- Go to Account Settings
- Find "Brave Mode" toggle
- Read the warning
- Enable if you're ready
The Warning
When enabling, you'll see:
"With Brave Mode, generated posts will be published immediately instead of saved as drafts. Make sure you trust your settings."
Our Recommendation
Start with Brave Mode OFF. Get comfortable with:
- How AI generates your posts
- What your commits look like as content
- Your audience's expectations
Then, when ready, go brave!
Fortune favors the bold.
